Poggio del Farro has been established in Tuscany, where the cultivation of Spelt has existed from the dawning’s of time. The products of our Company, Poggio del Farro, have been born thanks to the experiences handed down from father to son, during many years of farming. Our passion for genuine and traditional food, bring you the true flavours of Tuscany. Thanks to the quality granted both in production of raw materials and in all its following processing, spelt reaches the consumer’s table, keeping its valuable qualities unchanged. Our spelt product lines can be considered the ideal basis to prepare healthy and savoury dishes.

The balance between man and nature is at breaking point: rash progress and financial interests have caused irreparable damage to the environment, and scientific research has highlighted the close ties between modern diets (chemical-industrial) and the most common illnesses of our times (cancer, heart attacks, arteriosclerosis, diabetes, and obesity). Modern agriculture and the food industry are mainly responsible for having caused and maintained these conditions. It is time for a change: we need to focus on unrefined organic food and, as far as possible, avoid food that is largely modified or denatured.
